Faculty of Dentistry researcher Dr. Carolina Beraldo Meloto published the cover story article in a recent issue of The Journal of the American Dental Association (JADA). The article, “Clinical predictors of persistent temporomandibular disorder in people with first-onset temporomandibular disorder,” is co-authored by a team of researchers, including McGill researcher Dr. Luda Diatchenko. In the article, Dr. Meloto aims to develop a model to predict TMD symptom persistence by using biopsychosocial measures. (Read more.)
In addition to her cover story publication, Dr. Meloto received the International Association for the Study of Pain’s Early Career Research Grant Award for her study entitled, “A role for bisphenol-A in chronic pain: Study in humans and mice.”
